CoreAVC

CoreAVC is a proprietary H.264 decoder, which is developed by core codec.

In 2006 he was one of the fastest software decoder so that it even comes close to some hardware - based decoder. This makes it possible to play on computers with less power low -resolution AVC video, and higher resolution on computers with more power. CoreAVC supports all H.264 Profiles except for 4:2:2 and 4:4:4.

CoreAVC is part of CorePlayer Multimedia Framework.

Platform independence

In 2008, the decoders for a variety of platforms has been ported. Currently, Windows, Mac OS X and Linux are supported, as well as embedded systems PalmOS, Symbian, Windows CE and Windows Mobile, the Linux version is available only to OEMs.

CoreAVC runs on 32 - and 64 -bit x86 and PPC ( along with Altivec support), ARM9, ARM11 and MIPS. In terms of graphics processors are Intel 2700G, ATI Imageon, Marvell Monahan, and ( limited) Qualcomm QTV support.
