Cormorant Lake

The Cormorant Lake is a lake in the Division No.. 21 in the western Canadian province of Manitoba.

The lake is located 45 km northeast of The Pas. Situated at an altitude of 256 m lake has a WNW- ESE - expansion of 26 km. The maximum width is 20 km. It is fed from the westerly Clearwater Lake. On the eastern shore of the lake is the same place. There, the Cormorant Lake is connected via the so-called The Narrows with the Little Cormorant Lake, where the Frog Creek drains the lake system east to North Moose Lake.

The Manitoba Provincial Road 287 runs along the southeastern shore of Cormorant Lake.

The Cormorant Lake is a target of fishing tourists here catch the walleye and pike.
