The Stadio di Cornaredo is a multifunctional stadium in the city of Lugano. It is mainly used for football matches and serves as the home for the football club FC Lugano.

The stadium was built in 1951. During the Soccer World Cup 1954 here the group match between Italy and Belgium was discharged. In June 2009, also an international athletics meeting was held for the eighth time.

The capacity is a total of 15,000 places. Of these, 5,000 seats and 10,000 standing places. The playing surface is natural grass.

In the spring of 2008, the political authorities announced in Lugano that the stadium should be modernized so that it meets the requirements for the Axpo Super League. The new stadium should be complete by 2011.
