Cornelia Behm

Cornelia Behm ( born September 20, 1951 in Kleinmachnow ) is a German politician ( Alliance 90/The Greens ).

Life and career

After attending the Polytechnic High School graduated Cornelia Behm 1966-1970 vocational training for skilled workers as operating and Verkehrseisenbahnerin with school. She then attended a specialized school, as they agriculturally Technical Assistant (LTA ) left in 1972 for plant protection. She then worked as AD at the Institute for pesticide research in Kleinmachnow. In 1978 she moved to the District Hygiene Institute or the inspection in Potsdam and studied part-time at the Humboldt University in Berlin. After she had finished her studies in 1984 with a degree in agricultural engineer, she worked as a research assistant at the district hygiene inspection Potsdam until 1990.

From 1991 to 1996 she was the Behm consultant at TÜV environmental Berlin Brandenburg GmbH and then from 1997 to 2002 clerk in the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of the State of Brandenburg.

Cornelia Behm is married, has two children and lives in Kleinmachnow.

Party

After she had been engaged for many years in church groups, was Cornelia Behm 1989, member at Democracy Now. Since 1993 she is a member of Alliance 90/The Greens and belonged from 2000 to 2002 the Green District Executive Potsdam- agent Mark at.

2001 Cornelia Behm scored in Kleinmachnow as mayor candidate of the " citizens group " (Alliance for Green, "Citizens for good quality of life in Kleinmachnow " and FDP ) is a result of 20.45 % of the vote.

From 1990 to 2002 Cornelia Behm was a member of the municipal council of Kleinmachnow.

Cornelia Behm is always drawn on a state list of Brandenburg in the Bundestag. At the general election in 2013 Behm did not occur again.
