Cornelia Groot

Cornelia Nycke Groot (born 4 May 1988 in Alkmaar ) is a Dutch Handball.

Groot played in the Netherlands Koedijk, Kolping and the first division Zeeman Vastgoed SEW. With Zeeman Vastgoed SEW they took part in the European Cup. In 2006, the backcourt player joined the Danish club team Tvis Holstebro. In 2011 she signed a contract with the league rivals FC Midtjylland Håndbold. With the FCM Håndbold she won the 2012 Danish Cup and 2013 the Danish Championship.

Nycke Groot played more 60 caps for the Netherlands, where they scored 170 hits. With the Dutch selection, she participated in the 2010 European Championships and the World Cup 2013.
