Cornelius Lupus

Cornelius Lupus († 47 ) was a Roman politician and senator.

He was proconsul of the province of Creta et Cyrene during the reign of the emperor Tiberius. 42 He was in September as the successor of the Emperor Claudius and Gaius Cestius Gallus Suffektkonsul. He was a friend of Claudius, who had him killed anyway at the instigation of Publius Suillius Rufus.
