Coronado National Forest
The Coronado National Forest is a total of 7200 km ² large forest area in the southeast of the U.S. state of Arizona. It is situated east and south of the city Tucson in Cochise County, Graham, Pima and to a very small extent in Pinal County.
The area is divided into several non-contiguous ranger districts:
- Santa Catalina Ranger District
- Safford Ranger District
- Nogales Ranger District
- Douglas Ranger District
- Sierra Vista Ranger District
In the Coronado National Forest or its immediate vicinity are: Saguaro National Park, Coronado National Memorial, Fort Bowie National Historic Site, Tumacacori National Historical Park.
