Corpus Delicti (Band)

Corpus delicti was a gothic rock band from Nice, which was active from the early to mid 1990s.

Band History

Corpus delicti was founded in 1991 and still published in the same year two demos. A year later the debut of Twilight was released in France, about half a year later with different artwork in Germany. The second album was released in 1994 Sylphes, this time only in Germany and France. Obsessions, the third album, was finally marketed worldwide. Compilations Sara Bands and The Best of were manufactured for the U.S. market.

In 1998, the group changed its name to Corpus and brought with Syn: Drom an industrial rock album on the label Season of Mist out. Shortly after, the band broke up. Sébastien Pietra Piana founded a project called Kuta, while Jérôme Schmitt several bands like (eg NKVD ) launched today and earned his money with a mastering studio. Christophe Baudrion operates in the Industrial Project Kom -Intern. Along with Frank A, a guitarist on the album Twilight, he has also founded the band Press Gang Metropol.

2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011, three retrospective albums were released under the name From Dawn to Twilight, A New Saraband of Sylphes, highlights and load Obsessions. These include, in addition to the regular works Twilight, Sylphes and Obsessions also tracks the Maxi Noxious ( The Demon's Game) as well as studio outtakes, rare demo and live tracks and cover versions.
