Corpus Mensurabilis Musicae

The corpus mensurabilis musicae (CMM ) is a printed collection of sacred and secular vocal music of the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance of European music history, with particular emphasis on the Franco-Flemish and Italian repertoire.

The CMM is a publication of the American Institute of Musicology and consists of over 100 volumes. Famous composers whose works have been published in other series, such as Josquin Desprez, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina and Orlando di Lasso are usually not included in the series.

Related Publications of AIM are the Corpus of Early Keyboard Music ( CEKM ), the corpus scriptorum de musica (CSM ) on early writings of music theorists, and Musica Disciplina (MD) of current scientific publications about early music.
