Corre -La Licorne was a French manufacturer of automobiles from Levallois -Perret.
Company History
As in 1907, founder Jean -Marie Corre from the Société Française des Automobiles Corre retired, new vehicles were developed, which were marketed as Corre -La Licorne. From 1934/35 was only used as a brand name La Licorne. 1950 production ended.

Initially, there were one-cylinder and two-cylinder models with built-in motors from De Dion -Bouton, who performed 8-20 hp. In 1909 appeared a four-cylinder model with an engine of Chapuis - Dornier with 2120 cc capacity.
After the First World War, a small four -cylinder model with motor Ballot appeared with 1244 cc capacity, which was replaced in 1928 by the Model 5 CV, had the 905 cc. Model 6 CV and later the Model 8 CV with 1450 cc capacity was derived from the 5 CV.
Was published in 1937 a model that resembled the Citroën Traction Avant 11 CV. 1939 appeared the new models 6 and 8 CV CV. During the Second World War, the Aeric 8 CV was equipped with an electric motor. 1949 appeared as the prototype of the 14 CV as a convertible.

From 1923 to 1926, Corre -La Licorne various models during a 24 - hour race at Le Mans. 1925 reached Louis Balart and Robert Doutrebente on a Corre -La Licorne W15 sixth place in the overall standings and picked up the class win for vehicles between 1.1 and 1.5 liters.
