Corre

Corre is a commune in the Haute- Saône in the Franche-Comté region. It is located in the northwest corner of the department, just on the border of the Franche- Comté region with the neighboring region of Lorraine ( dt: Lorraine). The village is situated at the confluence of the River Coney in the Saône. Here the Canal des Vosges begins ( dt: Vosges channel), which establishes a navigable route from the northeast of France to the Mediterranean in conjunction with the channeled Saone and the Rhone.
