Corrib gas project

The Corrib gas project envisages the development of a gas field off the northwest coast of Ireland. The deposit is located about 80 km off Erris Head in County Mayo, in a water depth of 355 m. It was discovered in 1996 and since 1973 is the second commercially exploitable deposits after the Kinsale gas field.
