Corseque

The hook skewer is a skewer with an elongated blade, which on one side has a large, strongly curved backward blades hook. This serves to capture the opponent, draw closer to hurt to get out of balance or to tear. In addition, serves the hook for pulling down of shields to impede the enemy and to take away his cover.

The hook spit was only an interim development that emerged in the 14th century and was replaced from about the 16th century by the Glaive.
