Cortazzone

Cortazzone is a municipality with 654 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Asti (AT ), Region Piedmont.

The municipality is part of the Comunità Collina Val Rilate. The municipality consists of the villages Vanara, Briccarello, Valmezzana and Mongiglietto. The neighboring municipalities are Camerano Casasco, Cortandone, Maretto, Montafia, Roatto, Soglio and Viale. The patron saint of the town is Santa Rosa da Lima.

Geography

In Cortazzone vines of Barbera for the Barbera d'Asti, a DOCG red wine are grown with status.
