Cory Cross

Cory Cross ( born January 3, 1971 in Lloydminster, Alberta ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defender and coach. During his career he played for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers, Edmonton Oilers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League as well as the Hamburg Freezers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

Career

Cory Cross began his career in 1990 when he played for the hockey team of University of Alberta, the Alberta Golden Bears. After he won the Golden Bears in 1992, the Canadian College Championship, he was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first place of the NHL Supplemental Draft in 1992. He played one more year for the university and was able to increase again in comparison to the previous two years, when he aggressively in 44 games set accents despite his defensive role with eleven goals and 28 templates also.
