Cosmos (band)

Cosmos is an a cappella band from Latvia. The six-member group due to their victory at the music competition " Jaunais Vilnis " ( let. New Wave ) in 2004, which was performed in her home town Jurmala became known. Then took part in the Cosmos Euro Vision Song Contest 2006 and reached number 16 there

Their first, self-titled album was released in 2003 and has reached platinum status, their concerts are often sold out. The band is also active in the other Baltic States, Russia and Ukraine.
