Costume party

A costume ball, also masked ball or costume party is an event that often takes place at Carnival and Carnival, but especially during Carnival. Especially popular are costume parties in the United States, where adults and young people who are too old to beg for candy, costumes celebrating Halloween.

These balls are celebrated in different ways. Common to all is that guests appear costumes:

  • Guests dress up to undetected to make new acquaintances.
  • A celebration with entertainment music on which the costumed guests are assessed by a jury, which is often a distinction here between groups and Einzelkostümierungen.
  • At Halloween parties, it 's mainly about wearing a scary possible disguise.

Some events also unmasked guests are allowed. But you often pay a higher ticket price.
