Coudenhove-Kalergi

Coudenhove- Kalergi is a Bohemian noble family.

Franz Karl von Coudenhove, whose family had since 1790 Imperial Count, was married to Mary of Kalergi ( 1840-1877 ). Their son Heinrich Graf von Coudenhove- Kalergi was the first Earl, who led the double name since 1903. Paternal Brabant Coudenhove had received the title of nobility for participation in the crusade 1099 and was completely back on, who died on March 3, 1259 Gerolf ancestors. The name Kalergi from the homonymous Byzantine- Cretan nobility ( with by- line Callergi in Venice).
