Coullemelle

Coullemelle ( Picard: Coulmelle ) is a northern French village with 330 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du Val de Noye, in the canton Ailly- sur- Noye.

Geography

The municipality is located D109 and D188 13 km west of Montdidier and 13 km south-southeast of Ailly- sur- Noye at the intersection of roads department.

Attractions

  • The 1926 built up again by the architects Théodule Morel and Robert Petit on the foundations of the old church in 1918 was destroyed by artillery fire, in 1994 as a monument historique registered church Saint- Nicolas ( Base Mérimée PA00132921 ), with features in the style of religious Art Deco by Pierre Ansart and Gérard Ansart, Jean Gaudin, Fernique Bernardin, Pierre Turpin and others.
  • The war memorial was inaugurated in 1946 by Allard.
