Council of International Fellowship

The Council of International Fellowship ( CIF) is a now a global association for the exchange of experts in the fields of social affairs in the broadest sense.

The origin lies in 1954 as the U.S. State Department Henry B. Ollendorff as part of the re-education program sent to Germany to conduct courses for youth leaders and social workers. The Youth Ministry in Bonn supported him. 1956 awarded this together with the Fulbright Commission travel scholarships to German participants for studies in the United States. The program was later extended to other countries. The Cleveland International Program ( from 1965 Council of International Programs for Youth and Social Workers Federation ), headquartered in Cleveland ( Ohio) was born.

The program has now brought many thousands of scholars to study in many countries (India, USA, Turkey, Western European countries, etc.).
