County court
The County Court is a rank lower court in England and Wales. The County Court is a relatively new court and in 1846 introduced by the County Courts Act 1846; throughout England and Wales there are 216 County Courts. Approximately 85 percent of civil jurisdiction is made here.
Occupation
The county courts are staffed by single judges, Circuit Judges usually to a dispute worth over £ 5,000 and District Judges. In addition, the recorder can be used, that is, barrister or solicitor who temporarily work of the Queen on the recommendation of the Lord Chancellor as a judge.
Tasks
The County is exclusively civil law operates. He decides on cases with a maximum value in dispute of £ 50,000.
