Coupe de la Ligue (ice hockey)
The Coupe de la Ligue is an ice hockey competition from France, which is held annually since 2007 by the French Ice Hockey Federation. Record winner are Grenoble Métropole Hockey 38 and Rouen Hockey Élite 76 with two successes.
Mode
At the Coupe de la Ligue attended by all 14 teams in the Ligue Magnus, also as the Second Place Division 1 is replaced by the previous year's losers, as a starting place in the League Cup. First, the 16 teams are divided into four groups so that teams from the same region compete against each other. The teams will play one game against each of their opponents in the group. The top two teams in each group qualify for the quarter-finals then. The district, as the semi-finals will be played in each round-trip game. For the next round, the goal difference is crucial. If this offset is in the second game of an extension, optionally append a shootout. The final will be played in a single game on neutral ground.
