Reviews

James Berardinelli wrote on ReelViews, the film is not the best introduction to the work of the writer. Although he offers a " halfway interesting plot " and " competent representation " but that he acted " secondary" to the other, more compelling tales of revenge, deceit and betrayal. Jessica Lange was good in her role, but not great; the representations of Hugh Laurie and Bob Hoskins are alive. Elisabeth Shue WOULD boring. Overall, the film was a disappointment.
