Cousin Joe

Cousin Joe ( born December 20, 1907 in Wallace, Louisiana, † October 2, 1989; actually Pleasant Joseph ) was an American blues musician.

Life

Cousin Joe began his musical career as a pianist for the Septet Mezz Mezzrow / Bechet Sidney (King Jazz, 1945) in New York.

He was playing with Lee Allen in clubs in New Orleans and in the band Dave Bartholomew.
