Cph Germany chemical production and trading mbH is a middle class family based in Essen. It is a major supplier of biodegradable industrial adhesives. The core competence of the company lies in the production of environmentally friendly labeling adhesives for the food industry, packaging industry, paper converting industry and the tobacco industry.

The CPH Group has production facilities in Russia, Ukraine, Portugal and Germany. It exports to over 80 countries. From a German production about 90 percent of the adhesives are exported. The company was validated as a first German operation in accordance with the EC Eco Audit (EMAS 1836 /93). Meanwhile cph has changed to the worldwide spread DIN EN ISO 14001.

History

In 1975, Gerwin Schüttpelz the CPH Chemie production and trading company as a distributor of industrial adhesives. 1977 started the production of starch and cellulose adhesives. In 1983 the company developed the first protein-based labeling adhesive. 1990 CPH was asked by the then resident in Essen Coca- Cola Germany, to develop a specific labeling adhesive for PET bottles. In 1999, the company was renamed in CPH Germany GmbH. It was followed by the establishment of a production plant in Ukraine and the CPH Industries Moscow. In 2002 was the participation in the CPH Quimica in Portugal and in 2009 the establishment of a subsidiary in the Netherlands.

• Labeling adhesives for all application fields, such as glass or plastic bottles in the beverage industry, and any other imaginable labeling tasks, for example in the food industry such as syrup, honey or containers in the chemical industry, such as paints and paint bucket of sheet metal or household cleaners in all known plastics. Awards

The CPH Group was repeatedly nominated for the SME award the Oskar Patzelt Foundation, was one of the finalists in 2007 and in 2009 was awarded as the winner. " Award for Environmentally Conscious Management " from the Association of Independent Entrepreneurs in the years 1989, 1992, 1997 and 1999.
