Cragganmore is a whiskey distillery in Ballindalloch, Moray, Scotland. The distillery is part of the spirits group Diageo (formerly United Distillers ), the whiskey is marketed as part of the Classic Malts series of operations.

History

The distillery was founded in 1869 by John Smith at the foot of Craggan More Hill. It is located on the lands of Ballindalloch Castle in the village of Ballindalloch in Banffshire in the north- east of Scotland. The place was chosen by Smith because of its proximity to both the Bach Craggan Burn as well as for railway Strathspey Railway. Production
