Craig Brewer

Craig Brewer ( born December 6, 1971 in Virginia Beach, Virginia) is an American film director and screenwriter.

His debut as director and screenwriter, he was in 2000 with the film The Poor and Hungry. He had his breakthrough was awarded the 2005 movie Hustle & Flow, which won an Oscar. For his work he was awarded the 2005 Sundance Film Festival with the audience award.
