Craig Dixon

Craig Dixon ( Dixon Craig Kline, born March 3, 1926 in Los Angeles ) is a former American hurdler.

In 1948, he won the bronze medal in the 110 meter hurdles behind his compatriots William Porter and Clyde Scott at the Olympic Games in London.

The following year, he was both U.S. champion in the 110m hurdles and 200m hurdles as well as NCAA champion in the 110 m hurdles and 220 yards hurdles.

In 1952 he tried again to qualify for the Olympic Games in Helsinki, but crashed in the final of the U.S. elimination fights at the eighth hurdle.

After his playing career, he was a track and field coach at his alma mater, the University of California, Los Angeles, works.
