Craig Fairbaugh

Craig Fairbaugh ( born March 11, 1978) is an American musician and the rhythm guitarist and back-up singer for the punk rock band 44. Other musicians in the band are Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, members of the successful punk-pop trio blink-182, and Shane Gallagher of the band The Nervous Return.

Early life

Fairbaugh grew up in the Bay Area of San Francisco and began playing guitar at the age of 15 years. Later he founded and led his own three -man band Vintage 46, but only played a few house parties. Craig was one of the recorded demo tapes Tim Armstrong of the punk band Rancid, who promised him to release the album on a new label, which he had just founded, but this never happened. He later moved to Los Angeles in order to realize his musical interests more effectively.

Career

At the moment he plays for the punk rock band The Mercy Killers. He was also an official member of the band 44, after the previous guitarist Carol Heller had left the band during the recording of their first album, to start a family. The album was released on 14 November 2006. Other bands that played Fairbaugh, were Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards, The Transplants and The Forgotten.
