Craig MacDonald (ice hockey b. 1977)

Craig MacDonald ( born April 7, 1977 in Antigonish, Nova Scotia ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who until 2013 was 2010 with Adler Mannheim in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

Craig MacDonald began his career as a hockey player in the team from Harvard University, where he was active from 1995 to 1997. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1996 in the fourth round as a total of 88 players from the Hartford Whalers. After he took in the 1997/98 season for the team Canada in friendly matches, he gave in the 1998/99 season his debut in the National Hockey League for the Carolina Hurricanes, which at the attacker after the relocation of the Hartford Whalers to Carolina 's Rights had received. In his rookie year he was point and impunity in twelve games. The majority of the playing time he spent in the farm team of the Hurricanes, the Beast of New Haven of the American Hockey League. For the 2009/10 season of Canadians has been committed by the DEG Metro Stars of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, where he stayed only for one season, however. In April 2010, MacDonald was known for league rivals Adler Mannheim changes.
