Craig Mackail-Smith

Craig Anthony Robert Mackail -Smith (born 25 February 1984 in Watford) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with the English second division Brighton & Hove Albion since 2011. Since March 2011, he also played for the Scottish national team.
Playing career
Peterborough United (2007-2011)
On 29 January 2007 Craig Mackail -Smith moved to the fourth division Peterborough United, after he had made his goalscoring at the British fifth-tier Dagenham & Redbridge proof. In the Football League Two 2007/ 08 Mackail -Smith ( 36 Spiele/12 goals) increased with his new team on to the third tier. Also in the Football League One 2008 /09, the climber was doing fine and managed as a runner-up behind Leicester City direct walkover in the second division. Craig Mackail -Smith scored twenty-three league goals and was the top scorer of his team. The season in the Football League Championship 2009/10 proved to be much more demanding. Peterborough won only eight of the forty-six league games and climbed as Table to the third tier from. The return to the Football League One 2010/11, however, was not permanent, the team at the scorer Mackail -Smith ( 45 Spiele/27 goals) took fourth place in the play-offs and sat down in the final 3-0 against Huddersfield Town through. After the season he was voted into the PFA Team of the Year the third division.
Brighton & Hove Albion (2011 - )
On July 4, 2011 Craig Mackail -Smith moved to Brighton & Hove Albion, and signed a four-year contract. The club was previously ascended together with Peterborough in the subprime Football League Championship.
Scottish national team ( 2011 - )
Craig Mackail -Smith made his debut on 27 March 2011 by a 0-2 defeat against Brazil for the Scottish national team. His first hit he succeeded in his third international match in a 1-0 win in Liechtenstein.
