Craig Pickering

Craig Pickering ( born October 16, 1986 in Crawley ) is a British sprinter.

He stepped on an international level for the first time in appearance, when he was in Sherbrooke won the bronze medal in the 100 - meter sprint at the IAAF World Junior Championships in 2003. In 2005 he won at the European Athletics Junior Championships in Kaunas over 100 m.

In 2007, he took in the Indoor Athletics Championships in Birmingham the silver medal in the 60 - meter dash. In the same year he celebrated his biggest success by winning the bronze medal in the 4 x 100 meters relay at the IAAF World Championships in Osaka. He also started in the 100 -meter run, reaching the semi-finals here.

At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 he came back to the British 4 x 100 - meter relay. Since Pickering started as a cage rotor too early in the qualifying round, Marlon Devonish could not pass him the baton within the exchange zone. The British squadron was disqualified and then missed the final. In the 100 -meter run Pickering reached the quarter-final round, but retired there with a time of 10.18 s.

Craig Pickering has a contest weight of 83.5 kg at a height of 1.83 m. He studied since 2005 sports science at the University of Bath.
