Craig Short

Craig Jonathan Short ( born June 25, 1968 in Bridlington, England ) is a former English footballer and current football coach. Most recently, he coached the English third division Notts County.

Footballing career

Craig Short began his playing career in 1987 at Scarborough FC. In the 1988/89 season he reached with his club a fifth place in the fourth division and missed the rise only slightly. Short then moved at age 21 to Notts County to higher class to be able to play football.

Notts County

His new club was relegated to the third division in 1985 and tried to reach the re-emergence since that date. This already succeeded in shorts first season 1989 /90 and was increased a year later by the direct walkover in the first division. Derby County

By the Cup victory last year, the Everton FC 1995/96 took part in the European Cup Winners' Cup, but failed there in the second round of the Dutch Cup winners Feyenoord Rotterdam. Craig Short began his players work in Blackburn with it in the second division. In the 2000 /01 season with his new team, he managed to promotion to the Premier League by a second place behind FC Fulham. Coaching career

On 30 November 2009 he signed a contract with the Hungarian club Ferencvaros Budapest. On 4 June 2010 he took over as coach at Notts County, for which he had been active as a player from 1989 to 1992. County denies the 2010/11 season after promotion last season in the third-tier Football League One.

On October 24, 2010, the activity of Craig Short ended in Nottingham. He is currently without a new club.
