Craig Taborn

Craig Taborn (born 1970 in Detroit ) is an American jazz pianist, keyboardist, and composer.

Life and work

Craig Taborn became known for his membership in the band of saxophonist James Carter and looked at the albums The Real Quiet Storm (1994) and Conversation with the Elders (1996 ) with. He also worked with Mat Maneri ( Blue Deco, 2000), Roscoe Mitchell, Nate Smith, Gerald Cleaver, Lotte Anker, Dave Binney, Wayne Krantz, Adam Rogers and others since the 1990s; next he headed since the mid- 1990s, his own trio.
