Cramonshagen

Cramonshagen is a municipality in the southern part of the North West in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office Lützow - Lübstorf based in the municipality of Lützow.

Geography

The community Cramonshagen located ten kilometers northwest of Schwerin on Cramoner lake which is drained by the upper Stepenitz.

Besides Cramon the districts include New village and Nienmark to Cramonshagen.

History

The village Cramon was first mentioned in 1178, making it one of the oldest villages of West Mecklenburg. The village church, a brick building that dates back to the 14th century. The Hamburg merchant Johann Friedrich Bohl acquired in 1798 by JA Schöning the Good Cramon. Bohl was raised to the peerage in 1818, received his sons in 1862 in the chivalry of the country. 1889 daughter had been entered in the noble convent of the monastery Dobbertin in the local Einschreibebuch. The Good Cramonshagen arrived in the 1930s by inheritance to the family of Blücher and was expropriated in 1945 and be located in the course of the land reform. Cramoner lake

  • Johann Friedrich Bohl left the mansion Cramon 1804 by the architect Christian Frederik Hansen in Lübeck established by the Danish architect Joseph Christian Lillie and Bauconducteur build as construction supervisor. The building is a simple, blocky -looking two-story stucco building with seven front axles and nine on the back, resting on a relatively high base-like basement. The Sockelgesims is ornamented by a so-called running dog with inlaid lily motifs. The superior portal is decorated with two full columns monolithic Tuscan order and has above under the flat triangular pediment the year 1804 as the date of construction.
