The Crasnei (Hungarian Kraszna ) is a left tributary of the Tisza River in northwestern Romania and north-eastern Hungary.
The Crasnei rises in the Munţii meses, a mountain range in the northeast of the Apuseni Mountains, south of the community Crasnei in Salaj county. Near its origin it is dammed to Vârşolţ reservoir. It flows in a predominantly north- westerly direction. She runs through the city Şimleu Silvaniei, crosses the border into Hungary and flows into the Tisza Vásárosnamény.
