Credit River (Minnesota)

The Credit River is 35 km long tributary of the Minnesota River to the south of the metropolitan area of ​​Minneapolis -Saint Paul, Minnesota in the United States.

About the Minnesota River, it is part of the watershed of the Mississippi River and drains an area of ​​120 km ² in a suburban area. The river runs along its entire length in the east of Scott County; its tributaries also drain a portion of the West of Dakota County.

The Credit River has its origin in a small lake in the town of Elko New Market in the southeast of Scott County and flows always northward through the townships New Market Township and Credit River, and the City of Savage.
