Creem

Creem was a U.S. music magazine, published from 1969 to 1988 per month. It only had a quarter of the edition of Rolling Stone, however, was regarded as culturally influential. It was founded by Barry Kramer and Tony Reay in Detroit. One of the early and formative authors was the rock critic Lester Bangs. The magazine is also attributed to the creation of the genre names " Punk" and "Heavy Metal".
