The Cret du Midi is a mountain above the resort Vercorin in the Swiss canton of Valais and has a height of 2,332 m above sea level. M. It is located north of the Roc d' Orzival and separates the Val d' Anniviers on Val de Réchy.

The Cret du Midi is the local mountain on a plateau. Several trails lead in about 3 hours from the village to the summit. 1973, a gondola with the central station on the Alp Sigeroula was built. In the summer of 2012, the track was replaced by a modern gondola. Along the western edge runs since the Middle Ages, the Bisse de Vercorin. This irrigation channel drains water from the Val de Réchy on the meadows on a plateau. The route No. 58 " Chemin des bite " SwitzerlandMobility runs along the old, still functioning water pipe.

In winter, the Cret du Midi, is utilized together with the neighboring mountain peak Mont Major as a ski resort. Several ski lifts serve together with the gondola lift a small ski resort.
