Crewe and Nantwich
Crewe and Nantwich was a District with the status of a borough in the county of Cheshire in England. Administrative headquarters was the town of Crewe, lived in a little more than half the population. Other important towns were Audlem, Haslington, Nantwich, Willaston and Wistaston.
The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the Borough of Crewe, Nantwich and the Urban District of Nantwich Rural District. On 1 April 2009 it was disbanded due to a territorial and administrative reform, and went on in the new unitary authority of Cheshire East.
