Features

The Nehrkorn - Mistelfresser reaches a length of 8.5 centimeters. In the male, the crown and rump are bright purple. Habitat

The Nehrkorn - Mistelfresser inhabits mountain forests and forest edges at altitudes 200-2400 m.

Way of life

The diet consists of fruits, including wild cherries (Prunus ) and berries, and probably from the nectar and pollen of flowers belt plants ( Loranthaceae ).
