Crimson Jazz Trio

The Crimson Jazz Trio is a British jazz trio of modern jazz.

The Crimson Jazz Trio was founded in 2004 by drummer Ian Wallace, a former member of the band King Crimson. The idea was born on a tour of the formation 21st Century Schizoid band, consisting of ex-members of the band, the new interpretation of the song material of the 1960s and 1970s.

With the aim to transform the music of the English prog rock band in the jazz context of the classic piano trio he formed with bassist Tim Landers and pianist Jody Nardone, the Crimson Jazz Trio - also called " CJ3 ". 2005 was the first album of the band, The King Crimson Songbook, Volume One.
