Crispian St. Peters

Crispian St. Peters ( born April 5, 1939 as Robin Peter Smith in Swanley, Kent, † June 8, 2010 ) was an English singer.

Smith gained his first experience as a singer in various youth groups. There he learned to play the guitar. The long, thin young man wanted to be a session guitarist actually first tried it but then as a singer. Mid-1960s, he got under the stage name Crispian St. Peters a record deal, his songs, however, were all flops.

The tide turned in 1966 when he You were on my mind recorded a song with which had had a hit in the U.S. In 1965, the group We Five. Even his second great success, The Pied Piper, was a cover version. In the original, the song of the group Changin ' Times, which was thus but come also in 1965 in the U.S. only number 87 came from.
