Crispin of Viterbo

Crispin of Viterbo ( Christian name Pietro Fioretti ) ( born November 13, 1668 Viterbo, † May 19, 1750 in Rome ) was a Capuchin. He worked as a shoemaker, 1693 Capuchin monk and took the name Crispin. From 1702 to 1748 he worked as a cook and a gardener working in various convents, and is said to have performed miracles. From 1748 to his death in 1750 he worked in the church of Santa Maria della Conception in Rome. On August 26, 1806 Pope Pius VII him beatified, 1982, he was canonized by Pope John Paul II. His feast day is May 19
