Cristian Machado

Cristian Machado ( born 1974 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is the lead singer of the band Ill Niño. He was also active for Headclamp and La Familia and had several guest appearances on albums like Soulflys 3 and 40 Below Summers The Mourning After.

Childhood

Cristian was born the son of a Brazilian musician, but soon moved with his mother to Venezuela. 1986 they moved again to New Jersey, where he spent the rest of his youth. In his youth, he never knew his father right. His mother told him that his stepfather was his real father. He only found out who his real father when he called him and told him that he was his father. Cristian wanted him however do not see nowadays it holds but by phone and e- mail contact with him.

Trivia

He uses the microphone of Dave Williams, the former lead singer of Drowning Pool. They were good friends and both bands became friends during the Jagermeister Tour. After Williams died, his microphone was handed over to him by the band and Dave's family in honor.
