Croatian Railway Museum

Croatian Railway Museum (Croatian: Hrvatski Zeljeznicki muzej, in short: HTM ) is a transport museum in Zagreb. Rail vehicles of the Croatian railway history are presented in it.

History

The museum was established on 19 March 1991 by the Croatian Railways. On a 2400 m² area on the south side of the TZV Gredelj GmbH, in whose rooms the museum administration is housed, the vehicles of the collection to the railway museum are turned off. The entrance to the site is located in Vukovar street. Since 2004, the Museum has moved about 200 meters of track on the open space and built up a temporary exhibition on rail vehicles.

Exhibition

The exhibition on the outdoor area includes, among others, 14 locomotives, 6 railway cars and a snow plow for steam locomotives. There are eight steam locomotives, electric locomotive, diesel- hydraulic driven two shunting locomotives, two diesel-electric locomotives and a diesel locomotive.
