Called The Gold Brocade crocus (Crocus angustifolius ), and Narrow- crocus or gold paint crocus, a plant species of the genus Crocus (Crocus ).
Features
The gold brocade crocus is a perennial tuber Geophyt, achieved the stature heights between 5 and 12 centimeters. The Knoll shell is netzfaserig. The 3-6 leaves are 0.5 to 1.5 millimeters wide and gray-green. The Perigonzipfel are yellow, its outside is clearly bronze striped, speckled or crowded. They measure 17 to 34 × 6 to 13 millimeters and are withdrawn at flowering time.
The flowering period is in March, they rarely begins in February.
Occurrence
The gold brocade crocus occurs in the Crimea, in the south Ukraine and possibly also in the Caucasus. The species grows on open slopes, in Juniperus bushes and in loose tree corridors at altitudes from 300 to 1500 (rarely over 100 ) meters.
Use
The gold brocade Crocus is scattered used as an ornamental plant for rock gardens and borders. You type in culture since about 1580.
