Crooked Still

Crooked Still is a progressive bluegrass band, which was founded in 2001. In the past occupation as a quintet they consisted of vocalist Aoife (pronounced I- fah) O'Donovan, banjo player Dr. Gregory Liszt, bassist Corey DiMario, cellist Tristan Clarridge and Brittany Haas violinist. History

Aoife O'Donovan and DiMario met at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts in the spring of 2001. Cellist Rushad Eggleston, who studied at the Berklee College of Music, and Liszt, then a biology student at MIT, already made ​​music together.

In the summer of 2001, four students joined together to Crooked Still. In September, the debut album Hop High was published and became a bestseller.
