Crostino

Crostini (Pl. of crostino = diminutive of crosta, " crust " ) is an Italian dish.

The basic recipe is that slices of country bread rubbed with wheat flour or other grains depending on the region with garlic and drizzled with olive oil before serving.

This recipe will be varied variously:

• Crostini with fresh diced tomatoes
• Crostini with fried chicken liver
• Crostini with Parma ham
• Crostini with spread made from olives, anchovies or tuna
