Crown of the Netherlands

The Dutch crown is a crown in the Netherlands.

The crown was made ​​in 1840 for the Dutch King William I to the proclamation. The successor of William II and subsequent kings decided not to wear the crown, but they each lay with the proclamation at a special table during the ceremony. The crown was worn on different royal funerals. 1888, 24 of the 74 beads that are attached to the crown, removed the proclamation of Queen Wilhelmina. Since then, the crown was not changed. By 1963, the crown was part of the royal property. Then the crown was part of a royal foundation, which is controlled by the Dutch royal family, which also includes the other items of the Dutch crown jewels.
